Avielo began with a simple thought: the best stories happen between the last flight and the first light. Out there, an old biplane can fly wingtip to wingtip with a dragon, and a Viking ship glides through the mist beneath the northern lights.
I'm Emiel Sijbers from Sevenum in the Netherlands, and I've been flying RC models for more than fifteen years. It started with practising on a small model helicopter, and the models kept getting bigger. That's why I joined the model flying club MVC-Apollo '68, and that's also where my love for turbine models began: helicopters as well as jets.
Besides that, I can get completely lost in sci-fi and fantasy: one good story and the world around me fades away. The same goes for Norse mythology. The sagas, and the way they unfold, never stop fascinating me. And beyond that? I'm simply a lover of punk, metal and rock 'n' roll, with a nerdy twist: 3D printing and laser engraving are part of the mix too.
